Long gone are the days
of using a bulky video
camera or grainy Web-cam
to shoot your You Tube
videos—this is the 21st
century, after all. In the
latest effort to bridge the
gap between the Web and
your cell phone or camera,

Casio has re-
leased two new
digital cameras
featuring a You Tube cap-
ture mode and bundled
software to make record-
ing, uploading and sharing
videos easy. The EX-S880
and EX-Z77 cameras also
have a cutting-edge MPEG-
4 H.264 video format,
which provides a compres-
sion ratio for longer film
time and higher-quality
video. Camera users can
upload their videos to
the Web in as little as two
steps, and can even upload
multiple videos at once.
The Thrill
of the Hunt
You finally convinced your wife to let you convert the basement
into a manly haven complete with a leather couch, big-screen TV
and mini-fridge. But something’s missing. Perhaps it’s the head
of a proud buck to look down at you from its place on the wall
above the bar? The only problem is, you don’t hunt.
Instead of succumbing to the call of the wild, order a carved
wood deer head online from Velocity. It’ll impress your friends,
but won’t spook you every time you enter the room—or make
you feel as if you’re being watched each time you grab a beer. The
hand-carved head of basswood is equipped with a keyhole hanger
in the back. At 16 inches wide and 20 inches high, it makes a nice
conversation piece. Just be sure to hang it high enough to keep
your friends from drawing a mustache on it.
