All aboard

Cold Weather Paradise
Just when you thought High School Musical mania was winding down, a live stage incarnation—
from the producers of The Lion King, no less—is keeping the franchise alive and kicking, with a
stop at Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre in February. If you’re the parent (or aunt, uncle, grandparent) of a ’tween, you better book those tickets, fast (and remember to bring your earplugs). If you’re
’tween-free, take a look at some of the other offerings on the fun menu during the first part of 2008:
a cabaret performance by music man Brian Stokes Mitchell; a symphony of Broadway favorites;
some AA hockey action; climb aboard the snow express for a ski weekend you’ll never forget;
and so much more. Be sure to mention Arrive for special rail fares and discounts. There’s no end to
where Amtrak can take you. — COMPILED BY MICHAEL HAMMETT
