It’s been said that from water flows
all life. Here at the Peninsula at
Golden Isles on the Little Satilla River,
life continues to spring forward in a
beautiful, unspoiled region that has never
lost its way or its values when it comes
to genuine, rich coastal living.
As we began to envision the unique
opportunity that is the Peninsula, we
developed a fresh insight into how creating a truly new, eco-friendly community
means more than a group of model
homes around a golf course or tennis
courts.
It was then we decided to offer those
special few who desire more than the
mundane club community homes and a
very special lifestyle that showcases and
shares the traditional ways and rich life
of the rural Lowcountry.
Leave your ‘club attire’ at your
old place. You’re home now.
We are creating the Peninsula with
one of the top five largest man-made
lake systems in a development within
the Southeast Region in cooperation
with a team of University of Georgia
Biologists. The largest lake will be 2. 5
miles in length, while future water access
will include a kayak channel through
the marshes, providing an amazing
adventure paddling to the Little Satilla
River, or just a beautiful way to soak
up the warm sun. There is as much - or
as little – as you could want to do here.
Explore the 25+ miles of hiking trails,
sketch an ancient Live Oak, go for a boat
ride or maybe just take a kid fishing.
So let that that racket go, park the clubs
and don’t ever worry about reservations
here. Neighbors never need them.

With our groundbreaking in June
2007, a new concept in genuine living
began its remarkable path to a way
of rich, simple way of living that had
almost vanished.
While there are unifying characteristics to this self-contained community,
such as the ”Faith Chapel” look from
Jekyll Island, its underlying rural character and our Green Housing Initiative,
each neighborhood here is blessed with
its own character and traits.
Our first, The Estuary (open
November 2007), offers 205 premier
home sites; 85 of which will be centered
around a mile-long interior lake and
include private docks. All lots will use
the unique and distinctive irregularities
of the shoreline and the land to lend an
individual, custom feel and stunning
views for every lot.
Our second phase, The Harbour, will
be the center of the community. Here,
our planned Nature Center will be an
educational, child-friendly experience
where all are welcome to learn about the
complex and diverse ecosystems around
us. While in the Town Square, residents
will dine in our planned restaurant, shop
away in the retail center, reflect in the
Chapel or treat themselves or guests to
time well spent in the planned Spa and
Bed & Breakfast.
For those seeking the outdoors and
water-borne satisfaction, the planned
eco-marina, and outfitters store will be
at your service. You won’t find a golf
or tennis pro here, but our “River Pro”
will have all the gear and know-how to
make every excursion a success unlike
any other.
Our on-site, the 80-acre nursery
cultivates and nurtures indigenous
plants and grasses for replanting
throughout the property. This
unique project run jointly by famed
landscape architect Joey Underwood
in conjunction with the Forestry
Department of the University of
Georgia, will gradually blend this
nurtured flora back into nature
throughout the development. You can
January 2008
even stop by the state-of-the-art facility
and pick out the trees for your yard.
We believe progress is inevitable, but
our methods and techniques of eco-friendly landscaping and environmental
harmony are leading the way in
creating a more natural and ultimately
self-sustaining landscape that is both
extremely rewarding and a natural,
pastoral beauty.
They say preservation is a gift
one generation gives to the next.
Spring Tide knows it is no different
with the cultivation and conservation
of nature. This innovative approach to
greenery springs from an understanding
that landscaping does more than add
property value.
Inviting, hospitable, rich living, and
“green” in every sense of the word; the
Peninsula at Golden Isles is the decision
you’ve always wanted to make.
