Cathie Black admits she’s not
one of those New Yorkers

when she does, her rambling
old farmhouse on 27 acres,

of Bridgewater, Conn., fills

Black and her husband, who
recently completed a culinary
course, enjoy just staying at
home and cooking together,
usually something Italian. They have a
large extended family that also enjoys
Bridgewater as a getaway and gathering
spot for holidays.
“Developing and nurturing your personal life is an important message I try to
bring out in my book, so I believe everyone
must find a spot like this for themselves,”
