Daniel Pelavin began his
career as an artist in the days
when Adobe was primarily
known as a construction material. Pelavin uses a vocabulary
of geometric forms; rich, flat
colors; and letterforms inspired
by a wide range of 20th-
century cultural ephemera.
Pete Caldera has covered
baseball for the Bergen Record
since 2000, first on the New
York Mets beat and now as
the New York Yankees beat
writer. He is a past chairman of
the New York Chapter of the
Baseball Writers’ Association of
America, and lives in Manhattan.
