Unless you’ve declared yourself a proud
nondigital citizen, you probably already
know something about the fast-growing
world of Web television. What you may
not know is just how much real program-
ming is out there and how good a lot of
it has become. Like a parallel universe
filled with shorter and, in many cases,

conventional TV, the web has evolved
into a place where low production costs
and limited regulation are drawing the
