Come All Ye
Faithful
Seventh Annual Tree Lighting
D. C.’s popular radio show host of Man About
Town, Bob Madigan, once again officiates
this year’s holiday festivities at the Fairmont
Hotel, featuring a family-friendly tree lighting
ceremony, Christmas trees shimmering with
thousands of tiny white lights and more than
30 animated reindeer. Hot chocolate, cookie
decorating and, of course, Rudolph and Santa
Claus are in the mix, along with the music of
the award-winning Georgetown Visitation
Madrigals. Please bring an unwrapped toy to
donate, as this event benefits the U. S. Marine
Corps’ Toys for Tots. Entry is free and open to
the public. Dec. 1, 5–6: 30 p.m.
