Happy Anniversary, JFK On Jan. 13, the John F. Ken- nedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston celebrat- ed the 50th anniversary of JFK’s inauguration with the introduction of the organiza- tion’s new digital archive. The vent was attended by such notables as Buzz Aldrin, Justice Stephen Breyer, Ambassador Michael Collins of Ireland and several members of the Ken- nedy Administration, former and current Peace Corps volunteers, civil rights leaders, military personnel and others. “President John F. Kennedy inspired men and women throughout the world to tackle the difficult challenges of the age and to achieve in ways never before deemed possible,” said Caroline Kennedy, Presi- dent of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation. “As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of his inauguration, we have the opportunity to reas- sess President Kennedy’s achievements and to apply his ideals and reasoning to the seri- ous challenges that confront us today.”
