The Delaware Shakespeare Festival celebrates
its 10th season with a new take on its first
production, A Midsummer Night’s Dream
After falling for the Bard while studying in London, professional actress Molly Cahill Govern
returned stateside and began auditioning for roles with East Coast
Shakespeare companies—just not
in her home state of Delaware.
“Most states have a professional
summer Shakespeare festival,”
she says, “and I believed Delaware
should have one as well. After a lot
of thinking and research, I decided
to just go for it.”
