Matt Gross, a Massachusetts
native, writes the Frugal Traveler column for The New York
Times. For this issue of Arrive,
he wrote about the food scene
in Bridgeport, Connecticut. “
Until I went back with my father,
my most lasting Bridgeport
food memory was of my grandmother’s brisket. I know she
would’ve been happy to see
her son and grandson—and so
many other people—enjoying
themselves in her hometown.”
Wesley Bedrosian was
born in Alabama and raised
in Massachusetts. He’s an
editorial illustrator whose work
has appeared in numerous
magazines and newspapers,
including The New York Times,
The Wall Street Journal, Time,
Forbes, Vanity Fair, Billboard
and New York. Bedrosian has
received awards from Communication Arts and American
Illustration, and the Society for
News Design. He lives and
works in Montclair, N.J.
Paul Gaita, a Massachusetts
native and graduate of
Emerson College in Boston,
has written for LA Weekly,
Amazon.com and Filter,
among other publications.
For this issue of Arrive, Gaita
conjured the legacies of
dead writers and artists by
showing us their homes.
Aaron Kotowski specializes
in advertising and editorial
photography. He has a BFA
from Rochester Institute of
Technology, and his photography has won numerous
awards, most recently from
Communication Arts and the
Art Directors Club. For this
issue of Arrive, Kotowski
photographed the Edward
Hopper House Art Center in
Nyack, N.Y.
