The Presidents at Madame Tussauds
In celebration of Presidents Week, 30 first-graders from
Cleveland Elementary School in Washington, D.C., attended
the unveiling of nine new U.S. President wax figures at Madame
Tussauds. In the fall, a new U.S. Presidential Gallery will debut,
featuring all 44 presidents. The first-graders interacted with the
first nine figures, which include John Quincy Adams, Andrew
Jackson, Gerald Ford and Grover Cleveland, for whom their
school is named. Washington D. C. Mayor Adrian M. Fenty
helped to unveil the new additions.
