holiday traditions,
Keith Lockhart and
the Boston Pops open
the 2010 Boston Pops
Holiday Season on
Wednesday, Dec. 8,
kicking off a season that runs through
Sunday, Dec. 26. The Pops will perform
some of the most popular holiday tunes
and historic Symphony Hall will be decked
out to capture the magic of the season.
This year’s series includes seven special
kids’ matinee concerts; complete with
children’s sing-alongs, pictures with Santa,
and a kid-friendly menu of holiday treats.
John Oliver’s Tanglewood Festival Chorus,
celebrating its 40th anniversary, will make
