for the city’s first Diner En Blanc
dinner party, imported from
France. The lucky few, selected
from a waiting list of more than
30,000, were notified of the World
Financial Center Plaza location
just an hour before
the event started. Even
impending Hurricane
Irene couldn’t stop this
DIY party.
