annual Fashion Next event with designer Bibhu
Mohapatra at W Boston.
The presentation, which
was designed by W Hotels
global fashion director
Jenné Lombardo to support emerging designers,
featured Maggie Models
sporting Mohapatra’s
2012 spring collection.
Specialty cocktails were
created by Domingo-Martin Barreres from
Market by Jean-Georges.

Pennsylvania Ballet
On Oct. 11, the Pennsylvania
Ballet unveiled plans for a
$17-million building project, the
Louise Reed Center for Dance,
in Philadelphia. The center,
which will house administrative and artistic space, as well
as the reestablished School of
Pennsylvania Ballet, is scheduled to open in fall 2012 as part
of the capital campaign “
Building Beyond 50.”
