Charles Demuth
(1883-1935)
A master watercolorist and pioneer of
the precisionist style, Demuth found
inspiration for his innovative art
throughout Lancaster City and just
outside his studio window.
The Demuth Museum presents
changing exhibitions, special events,
and a permanent collection of over
thirty Demuth works, on display
annually. Our gardens are cultivated
with many of the flowers that inspired
his work.
